. I’m a graphic designer, optimist, and storyteller based in Oakland, California with a strong interest in typography, branding, print, exhibition, and digital design. I hold an MFA in graphic design from ArtCenter College of Design.

For me design is storytelling, stemming from a love of language, which is what led me to get my Bachelor of Arts in English at Santa Clara University, and then what made me look to explore further at ArtCenter College of Design where I earned an Master of Fine Arts in Graphic Design.
This love of storytelling across both rhetorical and visual language drives my work across strategic design research, branding typographic experimentation, transmedia work, packaging and print design.
Design is a significant part of my life, but I make sure to sustain it with my love of the outdoors, travel, and my self-inflicted challenge to read 5 pieces of classical literature per year.
I’m open to doing pro bono, freelance work for QTPOC-owned small businesses or persons, in addition to my paid freelance services.
