In summer of 2023 Nike Basketball released its 16th edition of footwear with it’s ongoing collaboration with Kevin Durant. Tolleson was tasked with creating a packaging solution that reflected the shoe’s physical attributes, especially pulling from the clockwork pattern on the sole of the shoe.

This project consisted of ideating several conceptual solutions and narrowing down on the final direction for the Nike Basketball team and Kevin Durant to approve for the July 2023 launch of the KD 16 Basketball shoe.
